Cheers that's really helpful guys.

I will have to wait til Tuesday now though with the bank hol wkend. I don't even know the sizes Alex or I could order online, I will have to take it in and make sure the ones they give me fit. Same for the crankcase breather hose I could get a rough diameter. The problem is I'm in bloody London all week next week . If I was at home there's a pirtek at traff park I could try.

is an oil cooler a worthwhile upgrade on the TFSI? i smash my car around the track and it only gets to 105 max?

HI neal im looking and planning on getting on track beginning of next month. You up for some track action?
As regards oil cooler kit it is very worthwhile when you have a full track prepped car with slicks imo. it is different with a road car and a few mods I think as they are not getting anywhere near as much stick. I was seeing temps of 140.

i am running 400bhp, and done a whole day a brands hatch and the max was 107.

so not sure about getting one. i know the TSI engines get very hot

Last year i saw temps of 130 on my TFSI so i would recommend the oil cooler kit to our cars also

the DD42 catch can looks impressive! what's the advantage/benefit of it over the forge one?

Lee I'm not sure yet about splitter will let you know.

the benefits over this catch can is the pipes used are a larger bore meaning better flow and breathing along with a large competition can that can hold a larger volume and has its own dipstick sois easily checked.

Well, time for a bit more of an update. I have now fitted my oil cooler kit, TT hubs and wishbones, fully polybushed, my RS4 calipers and 362mm discs, and my VMR's.
