Bit of help please
« on: July 11, 2011, 10:31:38 pm »
Hello,

I fitted a used BSH catch can on the weekend and one of the covers on the this part was missing:-

I've made a makeshift cover but it blew off gives me a rough idle etc.

So where can I get a cover like the other 2 pictures, or even so help with whats it called so I can look on ebay, I typed in nipple cover and had some interesting items come back ....

Cheers,

Rob

I'll do that although I wanted something in the morning, was hoping a local store might have something for a few pence.

What catch can did you get as that part isn't shown in any of the bsh catch cans on their website.

It's the street version (post GB). The guide I followed (Carl's) shows a different part with no taps and a grub screw to secure.

As a temporary measure use a 1" long bit of silicone/rubber hose thats a tight fit and jam a screw into it.
