Wrap front lip. Help, comments advice pls.
« on: July 05, 2011, 11:04:40 am »
Hi All

Thinking about having the front lip wrapped. Don't think I have the skills to have a go myself.

Just wondering if there is anywhere in west Yorkshire recommended. Also wondering what to ask for Di-Noc etc and anyone got an idea of price.

Cheers.

Not sure of any professional places, but give it a go anyway, I managed to wrap my front grille and it was pretty easy, practice on a couple of small parts, I did a VW badge, and then the back of my iphone and I got the hang of it after that.
Don't have the confidence to do the bonnet/roof or anything like that though.

I'm getting my front lip and the rear diffuser carbon wrapped by company Totally Dynamic for £130. They've got quite a few franchises but not sure about your area?

I'm going for the textured carbon fibre, looks good on their website gallery shots

The front lip on my ED30 seems to be prone to stone chips so this will help protect and I like the contrast of the wrap on the rear bumper to help break up the colour coding.

I got quoted £310 for a matt black wrap for my front upper grille, wing mirrors and b pillars! I actually burst out laughing!  :rolleye:

There is one almost walking distance from me. Just googled them.
Think it is a trip down tomoz. Hopefully they don't have a laugh at just the front lip
Please let me know how you get on.  :happy2:

In my opinion, the font of the spliiter and rear splitter should be wrapped or black anyway!
