Tree sap or similar
« on: July 28, 2011, 09:20:52 am »
Hi guys, rather annoyed about this! My car was with VW last week and when I got it back I noticed the back end of the car, in particular the rear pillars, are covered in what looks like tree sap, or something similar. When I drag my finger across it it smears. The car was due a wash so I wasn't unduly worried, however even after a standard wash (two application of snow foam, washed with Zaino shampoo etc) it is still evident. Is there something I can remove this with, or should I just give it another wash and keep my fingers crossed?

Clay bar as above. But sometimes a hot water wash will help.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.
