Was there a price difference?

I wonder how the performance of an aftermarket filter over say five years compared with changing the oem one every year (which is what I do).

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Are you assuming that the aftermarket one gets cleaned every year or so?  :popcornsoda:

 apologies, I should have said "aftermarket filter", :stupid:

I'm not looking for power gains ATM and don't expect them with a filter. Was just wanting some more induction noise coz ATM the car sounds very mute, especially coming from a Type R. Was thinking a K & N filter or the likes, will add a fair amount of noise I'd guess and should be similar levels of quality as OEM VW. :happy2:

Wheres the cheapest place to get one?
