Any recommendations on where to buy plates from?

Used GTGRAFIX before and the plates have lasted about 10 years but they are now a bit expensive.

police still debate wether these are legal or not, a policeman pulled and fined me for these along with a 3/4 sized number plate as claimed they were not road legal, even though they state they are

he took pics and sent them to the dvla

i told him where they were from and showed him that they had all the markings on necessary, he said he was looking into it but never got back to me

im still however using them

My understanding is that they satisfy all the requirements of a legal plate as in spacing, font, size & markings etc. Hopefully won't get any issues

They must also have a British standard marking, as well as the name/postcode of the numberplate supplier to conform to the Road Traffic Act.

I don't think reflectivity is a requirement / standard?

. Must admit I use gtgrafix and I'm well impressed with my carbon fibre look plates.   You get what you pay for  :pomppomp:
