Super resin polish and any old wax until you have more time!

If you're that short, it might be worth getting it done professionally. Then all you have to do is a weekly wash and top up with quick detailer or wax as required.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

i dont have to money to have it done professionally  :sad1: and i enjoy cleaning the car by self making sure i get every lil bit lol but i want to get into detailing because i have to clean my car before i go anywhere :stupid: I just see people talking about claying and using all these different products and learning little bits here and there about whats the best to use and in what order.

My routine is:

Jet the car off
Snow foam the car x 2
Rinse off
Wash with 2 buckets method (1 mitt for roof, glass, top halfs of door, bonnet and boot. 2nd mitt for bumpers and lower half of door)
Rinse off
Dry off with towel
Polish with super resin
Wax with Dodo Juice
Glass polish
Back to black for plastics if required

Im still leaning and getting bits e.g. different wax, brushes, glaze etc

Products - ask and you'll get a hundred different questions. Have a look at what people have used in some of the threads in this section.

The sticky guides will tell you the order.

i cant snow foam so i will just start off with the wash with to bicket methed- used this method a few times and i find it works alot better and keeps the water cleaner for longer.

Alot of people use expensive products and i dont really want to spend alot of money on them if i dont really no how to use the properly but in time i will learn. 5years +

Cheers guys for you help  :happy2:
