Was looking on desktop the other day at the "potential" new golf, comes with lots of good little funky gadgets
Looks a bit like the new ford focus, doesn't look anything like the some I've seen on other threads recently  :surprised:

We all know the Scirocco has the Passat style wider rear track than the current mk5.5 Golf. These pictures back up the 'development' car shown at Worthersee last year (the GTI Excessive) which uses this wider track rear suspension. So all we can get from that is the next Golf won't have the 'entirely new suspension' mooted, but instead will just adopt the Passat platform to save on costs. That's my humble guesstimate.

Obviously the bodywork will be different on the mk7 and the mk6 mule shell will make way for something even bulkier than the current bulky Golf.

And the price will go up yet again!!

Current mk6 GTI/GTD prices now sit nearly £3000 higher than when released in 2009!!!
