so, i thought some of you might like to see what im doing with my GTI, the first pic is the day i bought the car from its not so loving owner in wellingborough.....



the second and third are some interior mods that i carried out over the next few weeks.....






and the following image is two months on from buying it, showing the rest of the pack how its done and leading the way to the top step of the podium at the first event.....




i have kept the car road legal for a bit of fun outside the season aswell!!!

took our new 2l diesel Mk5 golf to the rollers today and saw 309 bhp at one point, a bit more fine tuning and then back there on tuesday. cant wait to get the finished article on the circuit shortly.....

^^^ You will have to get Wigit out of his new (and very slightly camp) Fiat 500 before he will be back to get some proper mods on his Rocco  :P

I just can't believe you're in your fiat over a decently tuned rocco what's all that about! I know mines becoming more of a track toy but I couldn't downgrade as far as a fiat I'd rather have best of both and just not mod the rocco quite so much and use it for both surely you can save money that way can you not wigit? And more importantly please tell me it's not pink! Kev 309bhp bloody he'll pal what's that had done to it?

I have to say firstly, I know nothing about wigits 500. Infact I think they're quite good fun. if one of my boys grows up to be an air steward, I might even buy them one before kicking them out. Anyway, I told steve I wasn't gonna darken the forum with my smokey diesel tales, but he assures me people will be interested. I will try and get some photos up soon, it is a 140 tdi base engine with some kpm loving over the last year has produced massive power today. Back for some fine tuning to the rollers on Tuesday. And then off to Thailand to race it.
