Evening all,

Can folding wing mirrors be retro fitted?

If so does anyone know how much it would cost?

Cheers  :happy2:

I don't know if its the same on MK5 Golfs, but on Polos and Ibizas the control unit is housed in the elec window motor.  It would be worth looking into this, as VWs are getting tougher to modify!

Are you sure you actually want this feature as the folding is minimal, iirc around 4-5mm less protrusion when folded per side.
Without traction power is nothing!

Anything can be retro fitted if you have the money and skill, I'm not sure it's worth the hassle though, try a search on here as a few have thoughts on it, most want puddle lights and reverse dip feature more though

Surely 4-5 centimetres? With millimetres, VW should never have even bothered.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.
