Well some little goodies arrived for the car in the week.

Induction Kit fitted, no problems apart from odd bolt being dropped down back of engine bay. Well until the night and my LED sidelight played up which soon ended in whole kit being took back out to get access to headlight.

Hour later with a coat hanger and a lot of celotape i had the LED out

Filter refitted and really happy with the sound of it, cant wait to get it mapped to hear it under proper boost.

Few more pics of car being cleaned and of my headlight bulbs. Think they pretty good substitute for xenons until i can afford them. Bargain at £12.99

Hopefully get springs fitted once i get paid next week along with cam belt.
On the look out for downpipe and decat then will go straight stage 2 I think.

More updated,

Had a nice hefty bill down at my mates garage last week for a major service, But cam belt, water pump, oil spark plugs etc.. all carried out.
Whilst car was in there would have been rude not to have my h&r springs fitted and bought a rev D diverter valve ready for mapping.

Yesterday came.. I have to admit i was a little excited to finally get boost agen. Dropped the car off at 8am to get downpipe and decat done.
Seemed they doubled booked me, after many a phone call and pleading i managed to get car back at 2:30. With a nice spirited drive to R-Tech managed to get there just in time.

Car straight on rollers, made 224bhp as standard but seems to have been tinkered with before. ECU is locked and Nick couldnt access it. His unsure whether its had a free trial before by previous owner or VW as was a demo car. Seemed it wasnt a revo map either as he still couldnt access it.

Got to book car back in hopefully end of week to leave it with him for a day so he can get ecu out to reset it and map it.

Boost will have to wait another week  :sad1:

Will wash car in a bit and get some pics. Car sits okay on back but still abit higher than id like on front but for sake of 10mm i cant justify an extra £500 for coilovers lol

Collected car last night. To say there was a grin on my face was abit of a understatement. Going from nothing to this was like getting into a completely different car.

Car made 267.2bhp and 331.3lbft. Will try and upload pic of graph later. Pulls so much better and sounds just how i wanted it. Cant hear it on normal driving but the sound sure comes when you put your foot down  :happy2:

Big thanks to Nick and the team at R-Tech. Second to none customer service. Even had car valeted. highly recommend if people are looking to have their car mapped.

Thought id just stop at a stage 1 remap, but seems i jumped straight to custom one with decat downpipe and induction. Now Nick has me wondering what car will be like with uprated fuel pump and intercooler lol. The modding bug soon comes back  :signLOL:

You went bluefin?  :signLOL: I don't know mate. 361 seems good compared to other ed30's. Each car is different i suppose.
