After a week or two of looking and having a golf fall through due to private number plate not being removed, I came across a white one.
Completely standard at the moment. Just had the monza 2 alloys professionally refurbed, just a few stone chips on the vehicle that I could see.
Got All the usual GTi stuff along with the tartan recaro bucket seats and a few other little extras.

300 mile round trip picking it up but well worth the journey even with the shockingly poor weather we had today.

Future plans probably lower it 30mm, colour code part of the rear bumper and remap.

Will update further once I get a chance to clean it in dry weather lol.

Cheers for the comments guys, the seats certainly are comfortable. Think im going to look for som lowering springs so it sits a little closer to the monza 2's. Anyone recommend some? or have any pictures with them fitted so i can see how it sits. Cheers.

It'll be ETTO with that and of course depends if you have specific requirements, but my AP springs are great for a daily (not a huge drop). H&R and Eibach sportlines are also two other springs I've had recommended by a handful of people with good feedback.

If you use yours for something a little more hardcore, then coilovers are probably the way to go and there's plenty of threads around that subject, have a search bud  :happy2:

Just want it to look a bit better, sit just on top of tyres like. Probably need 30mm drop id say. Had coilovers on my last car and i know i would just slam it for the look and can't be bothered with all the hassle of speed bumps etc lol. I must be getting old :|

Will have a look through some pics. Seen yours in your thread, will try find someone with same wheels see how it sits. Cheers.

Lovely example mate! Did well finding a version with those seats too!
I'd recommend h&r for 30mm springs, not much difference in ride at all but sits nicer on the 18s.
Have a look in my thread for a couple of pics:
