how likely is it for the rear wheel bearings to fail within weeks of each other

I would say likely as the fronts seem to go in pairs.
Mk2 Octavia vRS with K04 conversion, 3"TBE & Decat, APR HPFP, BDM Intake, S3 I/C, Sachs clutch & Unicorn custom map, S3 brakes, AP coilovers, THS mounts.

Mmmm i will answer my own question,and yes it is likely,replaced kerbside bearing couple of weeks ago mand within days the passenger side started to make a noise replaced today and,bliss silence is golden :party:

What kind of noise is it?

I'm trying to work out if mine are going, I have no movement as its just passed it's MOT but I do get a wurring noise, more noticeable above around 50mph and goes when I turn the wheels slightly to the left.

Does this sound like a bearing?

My old R888s made such a noise.  It was the Wheel bearing 'wurrrrrr', hummmmm, however you want to describe it.  But so much louder  :scared:
So quiet now (apart from the solid engine mounts & Miltek  :evilgrin:)
