Ipod cable
« on: July 21, 2011, 07:49:49 am »
Guys, I have ipod prep in the armrest of my Golf Gt which is nice but I'm after a cable to plug into this with a 3.5mm jack on th opposing end to I can use my phone.  I have found this cable on the bay but the seller does mention compatiblity issues with 30 pin connectors.

Does anyone know if this will work or can anyone offer an alternative that is not muchas ££££?

Hi Mate

Does your dock have a fixed position for the iPod or do you have a plug on the end of a short cable that you plug in to an iPod?

I have ordered this

My MDI can take 3 different leads, one from an iPod, one from a USB dongle and this one which takes anything with a 3.5 jack socket, i.e phones, dab radio, MP3 player etc. I'm not sure if yours is the same, or a straightforward dock.

It's an MFD2.

Hi mate, its a fixed postion in the arm rest, I was hoping a short cable plugged on the the ipod connection with a 3.5mm jack would be ok!
The cable in your link is the male connector, iirc I need female.
