Deako, if the car is under warranty, has had all servicing carried out at the recommended intervals, and to VW schedule
including a DSG oil change before the 4 year/40k point then they have no reason to delay replacement. They may wish to test the oil to establish cause of failure, though.
I suggest you phone VW Customer Care & inquire as to the process. In my experience dealers are adept at spinning works of fiction to explain why they aren't getting on with your car. Particularly if they have a stack of services booked in by impatient owners, who wouldn't react quietly when they get bumped back down the list for a big job like this. Rather than tell you they are full & you'll have to wait, they tell you some BS about your oil getting sent to the International Space Station or NASA, so you'll wait quietly until they have space.
Call me suspicious & cynical
