I certainly love the MFA display ones, however having run a dialled boost guage for yrs the usefulness of a digital number displayed (for boost) could be limited.
Ultimately its the response , sweep and relative values (that only a dial can give) that allows you to learn and follow the trend and style of boost and peak boost and vac levels.
You just learn to see the right 'sweep' , and its immediately obvious if somethings up.

Id go dial  :happy2:

Yes, the pod replaced the standard vet but the vent is still functional  :happy2:

Its a R-Spec gauge http://www.rspec.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=3_105&products_id=489

Thanks mate it looks great  does it come with the air vent pod or do i need to get something like this
http://www.awesome-gti.co.uk/product.php?xProd=10061&xSec=153 aswell then  :driver:

How's the finish on the neusouth offset steering wheel pod those who have got one? is it a good match? Haven't found anywhere near me so far that has it in so i can take a close up look....

Thanks so far guys
Dave

HI guys!! just a quickie.....try the site below.....have just installed one into my car and i have to admit that combined with the New South Performance gauge, it looks really good in the car.

Easy to fit and very effective to look at :-)

I will try to upload some pics ASAP

I do realy like the look of the OSIR pod BUT you dont get any controll of the vent with it. The one from Awesome still gives you some controll and looks OEM  :happy2:

Think im defo gonna get the air vent pod as i think it looks better than the offset steering column pod  :happy2: etto but i'm not a fan of the OSIR air vent pod, it'll defo be the one from awesome that is based on the standard VW one and still retain some function too....... just gotta decide on the actual pod now either r-tech or newsouth

I've got one, but I think it is a bit too shiny thinking of flocking mine make it blend in a bit.

Been looking into this more and was wondering if anybody has a pic of the air vent gauge fitted on the left hand side of the steering wheel? Just a case of getting the pod for the other side or would it mean alot more agro wiring it up??

Thanks
Dave
