Excuse my stupidity but how do you fit a electrical gauge I'm looking a boost gauges at the moment and would like to consider both options

An electrical gauge is pretty much the same as a normal gauge except for your Vac pipe goes to a sensor, then an electrical cable to your gauge.

Mike, they are plumbed in exactly the same as a Mechaincal gauge (mines done via Forge's Ctach Tank supplied PCV Block off)

The Vac line then goes through my Bulkhead and into the Electrical Sender in the Passenger Footwell, then upto my gauge.

No probs mate.

The sender goes with the gauge, you cant use it on a normal gauge or have I misread your intentions?

Bought my gauge from RSpec, they do the senders seperately too I think.

My gauge is a R-Spec gauge too  :happy2:

My old gauges that I had in the Ibiza were ProSport ones that are exactly the same as the R-Spec ones, again bothe the boost & oil temp were electric ones

Think I've got a few pics and vids on the laptop at home, I'll have a look tonight and post them up for ya Mike

As above Gaz, there Vac hose goes from the same place in engine bay.  Then instead of going straight to back of gauge it goes to an electrical sensor that sends the signal to the gauge.

More interestingly, whats that perched on your dash???
