How much is a LSD for DSG fitted.... What have you paid??

Looking at getting an LSD for my Ed30, as on a track day it showed up big style that clearly this car needs one.

So was wondering what other people had paid to have it fully fitted, and if there are any things I should be aware of having one fitted??

I think the price fitted from VWR was around £1300 - 1500 if i remember rightly for the DSG  :innocent:

sorry, one small scotch yesterday, and i can't see straight the day after  :grin:
Was to involved in getting the POLAR FIS+ to work i think.

But back on topic, Red Robin might be able to give a quote as he has the Quaife fitted to his car  :happy2:

I think with prices having risen and vat at 20% you will do well to get fitted for under £1750.00.

I just had wavetrac lsd and sachs clutch fitted - £2100 from statllers and vwr quoted same price (this does not even include new SMF/DMF)

To the OP I think the best way forward is to ring round a few of the more well known places, specifying DSG, and go from there. :smiley:

You can buy the Diff for the below, from nearly anyone, all that the same price. So it's down to fitting costs I think ??

yup think my wavetrac was about £900.00 from uncle sam. first impressions = agree with mat ed30 and RR - the diff is best mod you can do BUT is only worth doing if you plan to keep your car for minimum 5 yrs I would say otherwise keep the £ in your pocket for your next steed.

Wavetrac.

think iwht the quaife you have to buy the fitting kit ontop which is over £100 iirc, not sure about the other 2 but from what i gather the wavetrac is pretty impressive

Also when buying a quiffe you get an awesome warranty with it too as I think Steve p just had his replaced
