Fitting a Pioneer headunit

I am thinking of buying a Pioneer DVD headunit in my 06 GTI. I have seen the VW fitting kits which come with surround, arieal lead and Wiring harness. Do I need anything else?

I have a Pioneer headunit in the for sale section. It comes with every lead required to make it fully functional.
Thought i better mention it incase you havent seen it  :happy2:

To answer your question you dont need anything else, as long as the headunit comes with a gps antenna for the sat nav. With the one i have for sale, it also comes with a lead to allow the headunit to work with the steering wheel buttons (mfs), thats if your gti has steering wheel buttons.

I've finally got myself a new(ish) headunit and as its second hand I checked it work before running new ignition wires and what not.

However, when taking the dash apart I removed the airbag indicator wire to make things easier and then forgot to re-attach it when I turned the ignition on. I put everything back until I have more time. No I have 'Airbag fault' coming up on the display.

I checked a few posts and one person says I need to have the code reset via Vag-com and another posts suggests it will disappear after 200 miles.

As I don't know anyone one with a Vag-Com and do 200 miles a week for work, can someone confirm this is true.
