New Kenwood HU - looking for a fitting adaptor
« on: July 20, 2011, 02:06:47 pm »
Hey!

I'm currently looking for a new head unit to replace the RCD300. Basicly what Im looking for is a simple 2din HU. Dont need sat nav nor any dvd support. So far my best options are these two:

Kenwood DPX504 or the older version DPX503. I got a great offer on the older one from my local car audio shop. Just 190€ for a brand new one. The newer version 504 would cost around 250€. Another thing Im looking for is a fitting adaptor trim for it. I'd like to keep it simple and as OEM as possible. Many of the trims I've found don't look that simple.

I'm after something more like this. Don't want that trim inside a trim thing:

Any tips and honest opinions about the HUs themselves and the adaptors are welcome!

Cheers!
