hi all, new to the site and will be new to the world of vw. currently own a 03 honda civic type r supercharged. have owned it for nearly 5 year but in need of a change. planning to sell it shortly, and going to buy a golf gti dsg, maybe in white or red but do like the grey.
just wanted to ask if u guys have any tips and wot to look out when buying one. already have things in mind on wot i would like to do, but not sure wot route to take, either to go with a trackday/daily driver, or a full on show car. love doing trackdays as ive made my civic into a track car. but love the look of a bagged golf.
cheers steve

i found when i looked at them, just to get one with sat nav it can be quite alot more, may aswell get one without a say nav and put the headunit of your choice, instead of paying the extra cash when your probs change it anyways.

also don't be put off by lacquer peel on the 18" shadow monzas its common + Gives you something to knock them down with

Welcome  :driver:
