No you seem to have all the hardware for stage 2,maybe fit a better intercooler to keep the power there longer,is your gti a manual ? if yes you may need a new clutch when going to 2.
I went Revo as its an established global company but each to their own

If it were out of the two I'd choose revo every time ,but why not get a custom stage 2 map at r tech ? Way cheaper than revo

Buy a remap off eBay ? Why do that ? Get your car remapped at a company who have a good reputation , r tech , revo , apr

I was trying to be helpful here , there are plenty of members of this forum who have had maps off R tech myself included without any complaint what so ever , if you want your eyes taking out get a generic remap then

You certainly want to check/upgrade your diverter valve for the turbo. As mentioned, an upgraded intercooler will help maintain power levels through the rev range. Long term you should consider a high pressure fuel pump upgrade, R8 coil packs and good spark plugs.

As for remaps, a custom one by a tuner will generally (not always) be better than "off the shelf" maps like Revo. A custom map can be tailored to each individual engine and supporting modifications, which to me suits your needs because you don't have what some would define as a "full stage 2+". But this is a slightly grey area anyway...

Saying that, the Revo map, when set up correctly, is a fantastic bit of software when considering what it is.
