Any suggestions for well priced Genuine Fiat parts
« on: July 24, 2011, 04:28:59 pm »
Hoping someone can help as I need a Fiat ducato passenger side wing mirror for my dads camper, the outer plastic is cracked.  I have spent about 2 hours looking on the interweb and can only find patent parts.

I'm hoping someone out there knows the place to go to get a genuine mirror as I am hoping to just replace the outer plastic as a full replacement from fiat is going to be £300 with VAT so if anyone knows a good place for fiat parts at less than dealership let me know.

ITs a 2006 Fiat ducato passenger side mirror the one on his van is full electric and power folding but all I need is the outer plastic, it is also the short arm version.  I believe the part number is 8153Z2

Drop me a PM in the morning to remind me & I'll ring dealer & nip round to the fiat garage.  I called in there the other week on the off chance they had a 'stubby' 14mm spline socket

need to do as many favours before new year for when the CupraR clocks arrive

Will set myself a reminder for tomorrow to send you a message.  the only thing thats worth checking when you speak to them is if there is a difference in angle between LHD and RHD.

And no need for favors mate always happy to help out.  :drinking:

Yeah it would be the equivalent of driver side in Germany.  only difference could be that they have different angle, but only really need the pastic outer front skin (dont think they come separate for some stupid reason) so a cheap priced manual could work although if it needs to be a whole mirror at least an electric would have more spare parts for the future.
