These are a lovely 17" set of 2-piece split rims, Genuine BBS. They are staggered fitment so perfect for Mk3 or Mk4 Golfs or 03 Polos onwards, etc - 7.5" front and 8.5" rears.

BMW Fitment so 5x120, but adaptors are very easily available for these from H&R or others from ebay. ET41 I believe.

These are not kerbed at all from what I have seen, but the baskets (and therefore the lips) are suffering from the dreaded laquer milkiness, most will have these polished, but this could be easily done DIY if you choose.

The centres arent bad at all, some flaking to the painted finish again due to water ingress below the paint, but very acceptable. Complete with BMW centres, but these can be covered with a BBS badge off ebay for £6 for the set.

Be different with these splits, its been said 17's are the perfect size for a MK4, and staggered fitment is the way to go!

Im asking £295 for the set and they are more than worth it given they retail at £425+VAT each new from BMW!

7.5"

8.5"

help much appreciated

Fronts would be about 16 mil further out than a Monza II and the backs 22 mil further out should be just about ok on the back but you may have problems if your lowered unless you have some stretch as 22 mil would be sitting just under the wing rather than just inside.

Adaptors will be a minimum of 15mm so if the offset is ET41  you will be running approx ET26 they will sit to far out....  I did look into doing something similar with Porsche wheels and they would not fit without arch mods and they were ET51..

As wil most thinks, they will fit if you have the money.

Yup, the smallest we have found anyone willing to make is 15mm.  Any smalleer and the fixing to the hub just wouldnt be strong enough.

iv been having the usual and dreaded second thoughts

with 20mm adaptors (not convinced by the strength of the 15s) what would needed to be done to make these sit nicely? im planning on getting some coilovers some time this year so could adjust the height to suit when i do decide to drop the car.
Im quessing it comes down to a small arch rolling session? or possibly shaving a little of the hub of the rim?

cheers
