Proud owner of a GTI...

Hi to all, another proud GTI owner from the south, Hampshire.

Today I picked up my GTI and am loving it already. It is tornado red, 5dr manual, 42.5k miles, leather interior, multi function steering wheel, highline and probably some other things which I've missed. There were one or two extras I wanted that couldnt get including rns sat nav and xenons.

My girlfriend Mandy is a member on here, she's got the edition30 but mine is still faster simply because its red.  :grin:

If the weathers ok tomorrow I will give it a good clean and hopefully put some pictures up.  :happy2:

I'm also in south Hants and a recent owner of a GTI w/ DSG, in Tornado RED - about the same mileage, no multifunction steering wheel tho.  But hey the DSG's enough to keep me happy!

I knew I wanted a red one, wasn't sure on dsg or manual but this one came along and was the right one.

Here's a few pics of the car, originally came with standard 17" monzas but were battered by previous owner (lady) so I thought it was a good time to make use of the charlestons that have just been sat in the garage :grin:

Ive done the first mod lol, the wheels.  :signLOL:

There are a few things I would like to do but insurance is ridiculous so will have to wait till next year.
I will probably be looking to have the back and sides colour coded at some point soon though hopefully.

Sits very well on the Charls'  :happy2:

Gives it a fairly fresh look, don't think I've seen a red 5 door GTI on Charls. Pretty cool  :driver:
