How long is a piece of string question but...

What sort of life span am I looking at?

Mine have been on 2 years now, hard road use but no track obvs. I would have thought youd get a few years out of them easily.

I still think they would last you a couple of years... unless you decide to start doing a track day a week over summer.

If you want brakes that will work that you can cook, then I would go down to the 340mm. Cheap as chips.

I very much doubt you would cook the 340mm discs mate.
They have cooling fins that go all the way through the center, I had zero fade all day.
They are £170 a pair with J-hook and black anti rust coating, bargain really.

I may get the discs skimmed again to try later on (with P.Mu pads).  Don't want to be chasing my tail.

I need to check the min thickness for the brembos and the runout measured

Ahh yes I remember you have different caliper setup to us...

as long as after skimming you are still over minimum disc thickness... also any pad build up could bake into the disc and cause it to get uneven heating so vibration may return later.
