Car does looks absolutely awesome and carbon bonnet no doubt will look stunning.

Do you know how complex the swap is or is it very similar from going midline -> highline. i.e just the recoding of the unit with mileage and immobiliser etc

Well, spent the morning ripping my dash to bits for an aesthetic mini mod...

Quite bad start up this morning, due to the misfire / coilpack I think, 4 new ones are in the post.

Sending them to Kev @ KPM for Flocking.  Will probably do Heater vent rings and the strips along the door.

This bit -

Boxed ready to go...

This and gloss black rear valance are the last 2 mods before saving for bonnet or diff. Need to pull my finger out!

Think this confirms my misfire, coilpacks are in the post en route.

Excuse the tailpipes.  Can hear the 'Hiccups' on tickover

Send me your dp and I can weld it up, strengthen the bracket and weld the flange properly like it should be from new.

Oh, and red spoiler ;)

Don't suppose you have any pictres of the rear of the dashpod have you?

May assist others in how to remove  if they show trim/clip locations.

Little update, misfire woes...

4 coilpacks replaced Monday and still hiccups on tickover.  Havent got acess to VCDS though.

Had a bad misfire after fitting the coils (on St2+ map but not noticeable on stock map), starting with abseloute basics I pulled over and gave them all a tap to ensure they were seated propperly.

Did cure the bad misfire (coincidence?) but still seems off power, peaking at 23psi (normally straight to 25 on 25psi guage) and farts and hiccups on tickover.

Bought some new NGK BKR7EIX today.  Current ones (OEM) have only done 3000k !  Will fit when I get home.

Going to do fuel filter this week as its at 59K and hasnt been done yet to my knowledge.

Wrapping or ceramic coating of ITG may have to wait till next month with Flocking of dash bits, havent done bad this month to be honest;

Trip to Uk NQSBBK, Braille battery, Bumpsteer kit, XTec number plate LEDs, Detail & heaaaps of new baby purchases.

Want some new pads for the NQSBBK and posh fluid which will no doubt be a few quid as Ive read upto 2L for flushing through.

this happened on my brothers mk4 gti and thats what it was. Try unpluging it and then seeing if its better or worse.
