It was great to meet mike and work on his car today.  I'm also disappointed with the outcome of the day esp for the prices he paid.

I'm still not sure why it was an hour for gapping the plugs and £75 rather than £65 for the brake fluid change.  I have no influence on prices charged, but do state the hours that should be charged.

Were you quoted 150 plus vat for the alignment when you paid the deposit before Xmas?

My mistake; £65 +vat gapping plugs, £75 + vat fluid flush.

Yes I feel it's expensive but I'm glad ive felt an improvement

I have a quote for £150 + vat  :happy2: that Steve emailed me when I enquired about the DV and fitting TT arms and top mounts  :happy2:

180 pounds for alignment sounds like an awful lot. How long does it take?

I was thinking "you get what you pay for / buy nice or buy twice etc" i.e. Ride height could have been fettled, subfame adjusted to achieve the "Fast road setup"
Wiling to pay the premium to get the car how I have been wanting  :sad1:

My eyes are bleeding.

Why did you not get Simon @ VAGCO to fit the top mounts and wishbones? Would have cost you a 1/3 of the amount.

Given I have a feeler gauge in the shed neither can I Sy.

Replacement arb clamp will be 4 weeks from awesome so the car won't be going anywhere.

Looks like my Missus has just signed for my new DV so I need toget that fitted and post my other one off to
Benji who's Waited very patiently!

Next update will be; Fix Arb, raise car, re check geo, driveshaft oil seal, see if quaife GB goes through, sell miltek and try a BCS system.

Ill be sticking to Wheels in Motion or Centergravity for my alignment work then.  They are alot cheaper as well.
