At PSi tuning to see about the APR update.

The car drove really well on the way here, unsurprising given its 1degreeC and I've just removed; Diff, 4x R8 discs, 2x 350mm discs, Porsche turbo calipers and Isofix base from the boot  :driver:

Having:

Slot 1  stock map
Slot 2  v3.1 with cat
Slot 3  v3.1 decat programe
Slot 4  valet mode

So already if there is no massive performance gain at least I benefit from finally having the decat code to stop the CEL when running decat.

Taking the Missus out for an Indian so  :popcornsoda: for me too.

I am surprised in how much difference there is.  Diff and sticky tyres are going to be a must

I'm planning a visit to nearest Dyno Dynamics dealer and some logging maybe tommo morning or tue night.

Propper thoughts to follow (dashing in house to pick up wife)

The car is certainly quicker and feels more powerful.  I want to have it logged and check its safe as its boosting much harder.

Granted a more aggressive setup is what I asked for and is what I got.  Just want to be sure I'm not going to send the engine to an early grave.

I think with linear pedal it would be safer

Today saw the fitting of the 996Turbo calipers and 350mm discs   they are bloody good!
I thought I may regret ditching the NQSBBK as this week the NQSBBK had just got better and better as the pads bedded in  :driver:

However, although I've added some unsprung weight I'm really happy with them

I'll write a review of the Apr update and brakes when I've had some more time to get to grips with them  :happy2:
