Fantastic day
still on a high, though an hour on the train will soon bring me back down to earth
Car didnt miss a beat. The turn in and grip were outstanding! Had a fair bit of annoying arch contact even after raising another 5-10mm and removing the arch liners. Hardly did it with just me in the car.
Had 20mins tuition which helped. When people started going home and the circuit was a bit clearer it was easier to practice what he had said. Managed some smoother less aggressive but equally quick laps at the end.
Only got out of shape once or twice but not in a big way
what I took away from it was to try and focus ahead and to look where I want the car to go also I can go just as quick by taking nicer lines without ringing he cars neck
The car turned in and gripped amazingly but the surface was pretty evil on tyres!
Me and my mate in his 205gti were the last 2 to leave!
Was great to meet up with James again 'JimKo4'. Was my Mk5 Gti team support vehicle
4.2 rover/ Capri who I lent the jack & axle stands to as they had some oil circulation problems
Fire blade powered kit car I scrounged a lift in...
Was a great few laps!
Our cars liquid lunch...
Cannot wait to get the top mounts I have on order with AKS Tuning, Alex reckons the extra stiffness and a touch more arch fettling should put an end to my arch rubbing stresses
Another oil change then save for Bedford
