Smooooth is definitely the fastest and best way. It's kinder to the car too.

Not a problem Jim  :happy2:

Glad you could make it.  It's a shame the gt3 didn't stay long a passenger rid would've been nice.

So gutted that I couldn't make it down yesterday, would've been awesome but just couldn't get away from the bloody family!:D

So I reckon that you have woken up this morning feeling on a high and full of memories of yesterday - You are no longer a virgin! But I wonder if your car has woken up to the cold light of day feeling used

Just like a virgin, you now want to do it again, and again, and again! You are now a nymphomaniac. Your poor car!

Hahaha, nicely put.

The car won't be used now till I get the time and money to do another oil change.  Will get some brake advice of professor friction too before the next outing .

Lucky to still have the car with my finances after taking a big pay and allowances cut this year so really appreciate being able to enjoy it

A negative from the day...

It really confirmed my bug bear with the Leon.  How much of a blind spot the bulky pillars create.
After tuition I was looking for the blue cones on the second apexes of some of the longer corners and a whole (small kit) car in front could disappear behind my a pillar.

Was quite disconcerting.  Ive driven mkVs before and immediately felt more confident and comfortable (all types of driving) with the increased Vision allowed by the Golfs narrower pillars

The other negative if I had to point one out is that the day went so quickly!  :driver:
