Sorry to talk about mine for a moment in your thread. Black painted roof would better match the high gloss black of the B-pillars than vinyl. It would make the addition of a carbon rear roof spoiler, which I'm not thinking of getting, less in yer face.

What kind of money did painting your roof cost? (PM if you prefer).

Re your car, with a gloss black painted roof you wouldn't want a black vinyl bonnet, IMO.

Personally, I'd have two carbon fibre stips against the wings showing to the bonnet crease and then have the centre all done in a red vinyl.

....That's one of the options I suggested in a PM about the carbon bonnet he's not thinking of getting

Alex playing with ideas for a little bit to be left exposed carbon.  After alot of thought think Im decided on 100% red though tbh.

....I went through the same dilemma but have carbon bits showing elsewhere and the bonnet vent gives a clue that it's not stock. You don't necessarily have to tell the world where you spend your money - The whole car does it for Mike anyway.

The Cupra bonnet shape is a very tricky design to expose carbon on.

I do see your point Rich.  But bought it for me as part of the mod 'plan' I had.  Vinyl will protect the condition and reversible if I fancy a change of get bored.  Easier for resale too  

I know its Carbon.  As does anyone who's interested enough to read (Thank you if so!)  Anyway it will be obvious becacue my car will be 0.001seconds quicker to 60  

An idea I had was to put an AKS / APR etc sticker on and paint the bonnet then remove the sticker like Jake did with his R on his carbon wing

The rear part of the bonnet which is plastic where the washer jets are located has a carbon panel that will het bonded on so that will be the exposed section of carbon.

I will get some more pics of it on Monday to explain better.

You not keen on leaving just that strip exposed then?

....I was going to say that the AKS logo would work well (not too big and without the 'Tuning' text) exposed in carbon but then remembered that I was 'grown up' and discreet of course.

Don't do an APR logo - Vinyl cut applied sticker yes, but not the permanence of leaving exposed in carbon. Unless, of course, APR will give you a big turbo etc free of charge.
