Mike, please don't take this a wrong way, but have you considered paying for some track training before going so far on spending to convert your car to a trackday car? Remapping the brain is invaluable.

I'll at least have tuition at every event but would happily do a course if one presented itself and seemed worthwhile

The cars hardly going to be a 'race car' just a lot more track orientated so I can enjoy it and develop myself on track

Tuition on each track is great, especially when it's (as usually the case) someone who also knows that track very well.

Thanks for the invite / heads up Nick.  I'd love to he the car on track again. I've just had my road tax refunded and SORN as I'm supposed to be in Afghanistan at the minute, am being royally F**ked around with this deployment so I'm leaving the car with Alex at AKS to get through the list of mods / jobs I've left him with until I get back.
