Alex says they will 'sag' less and be firmer.  Then of course there is the adjustability opening your options on different geometry setups

Also they look

....I don't think he was talking about your top mounts when he said that, Mike!

Perhaps a different kind of 'top mount' entirely . What Rachael calls "Hoo Hoo Dillies"?

Hoo hoo dilly is what a man sticks into a woman's chacha.

It is not slang for breasts. Does no one watch South Park anymore?

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

....As in introducing the Gentleman Sausage to The Lady Garden?

I think someone ought to tell Rachael what she has been referring to when she posts about her Hoo Hoo Dillies! No, I have never watched "South Park".

Quickly back on topic:

Thanks for that info about the adjustability, Mike. They'll obviously be useful when you start going on different tracks.

In Mike's case they will help making clearance for the whells as adding more camber to the top of the coilover gives mores clearance between tyre and fender  :happy2: . It also lowers the roll centre which has a negative effect on the handling carateristics of the car on the twisties  :ashamed:

Over the top mod list ;o)

....Don't you mean that by lowering the roll centre, the Ground Control top mounts then improve the handling characteristics of the car on twisties and hence this is a positive effect. Perhaps you were referring to camber when you used the word "negative". Or have I misunderstood you, Jake?

Here are the AKS shifter bushes before fitting

An inexpensive mod and when fitted alongside the dd42 shifter bushes and a short throw linkage makes for a fantastic feeling gear shift.  Very 'direct and connected' without being stiff or notchy

I have a different brand of these fitted and can only agree with this. Makes gear changes smooth effortless.

You misunderstood RR, lowering the roll centre is bad, JonnyC explained it to me once, i'll try and dig it out, see if i still have it
