Are these just a replacement for the ECS bolts?

The ECS ones are just rebranded OEM ones so they replace the ECS / OEM bolt/spacer fix  :happy2: :happy2:

Yes these remove the need for the ECS bolt upgrade. They are not really recommended for anyone that's had some front end damage, as I'm sure you wouldn't want the car crabbing as you're going down the road.

Your good craic mate!

I had thought about having an actual shim/sheaf made to go inside, all the way threw as i noticed there had been a bit of movement... but these could maybe do the same job!

If it's not broke, Mod it.....

I'm just waiting on my cost price for the lock kit.  Mine is a demo test set so is the only one currently in existence.

Really transformed the car yet again.  Just come back from a 2 hour alignment on the car.  On the vRS there is loads of adjustability so I wanted it extra perfect.  Played with a new setup to make the back end turn in sharper and allow some oversteer.  Almost the same settings that I use on Civic race car setups.

Mike will be having this setup too.  :happy2:

Ordered a subframe locate / lock kit from AKS tuning.

Alex reported very positive effects from fitting them even before propperly re doing his alignment

They are the gold standard solution fix for the subframe washer / bolt mod imo
