I must admit these Speedlines are one of my favourite aftermarket wheels.

Such a shame that they will only get used so Alex can wheel the car in and out of his garage. Very considerate of you Mike going for  something lighter.  :happy2:

Dunno yet.  Fit fine under my CK's and 1.2's so should do.

I'm going to pick them up soon and then we will know for sure.

Yesterdays purchase...

Auto Dimming rear view mirror with red LEDs underneath to give ambient cabin glow.

I modified my current one to have the red LEDs but wanted the Auto antidazzle retrofit

My current one

Well bu**er me, I have a quite a few questions having just seen this Mike.

The most important one is though, did you convert your mirror to an A/dim mirror without fitting a new windscreen? (Looks like it but thought I'd confirm)
That must mean you now have the auto light & rain sensor built in to the mirror?

I can only guess this might apply to other Volkswagens/Audis/Seats too....

I'm intrigued regarding a little project I've been trying to fire off...  :popcornsoda:

Trying think of the inside of my Cupra, but I think, with out checking that the mirror is not attached to the windscreen, it's on the headlining. The rain sensor is on the top left hand corner of the screen (sitting in the car) on the Leon's as a separate standalone.  (FL ones anyways).

My current mirror is only modified to have the 2 red LEDs in to give the ambient glow in the cabin.

The new mirror just needs 12v (On the Seat to the white wire on the mirror iirc) and earth to power the 2 red LEDs & the Auto dim feature.  So yes Ive upgraded it without fitting an all singing all dancing windscreen  :happy2:

Im not sure on the other aspects.  When I needed a windscreen previously (crack) I considered getting one with the extra sensors in to try and do a full on upgrade but if I need another screen it will be an aftermarket one with heater elements in.

My mirror isnt attached to the screen, it's attached to the headlining.  Ill take some pictures when I do the swap.

@Jim got your PM mate, been really busy.  The DB9s probably wont go on the car and will be sold on.

The brakes ought to be a similar fit to the 996tt so had better fit under the Turinis.  If not Im probably going to go back to Cupra lower arms as they are the worst thing Ive done to the car.  They just don't seem to work well on the Leon

Can't wait to collect the car from Alex in March!

Et44.  The main issue with the ck's is there isnt much room on the inner circumference of the wheel and they are only a couple of mm away.

Joking aside, them been red has saved £200 due to not having to get them refurbed to match the rears

Plus they where good value!
