ITG Sold

APR HPFP Sold

Car SORN, while I decide its fate.  Be a massive shame to break it after all the money, time & effort ploughed into it.

If I don't sell it I'll likely stick a LOBA HPFP & new Intake on come summer, would like to upsize the Lupo for something diesel with the ability to tow the Cupra to trackdays.  Not bother with Tax or insurance and buy a trailer instead.

Time for a new project Mikey!!!

ould like to upsize the Lupo for something diesel with the ability to tow the Cupra to trackdays.  Not bother with Tax or insurance and buy a trailer instead.

You know it makes sense!!  Something ready built from Pistonheads or similar.  YOu should persuade Gyros to sell you his 205GTI!!!

You know what i mean  :rolleye:.  If your stripping it back and flogging, replace it with something ready built and cheap to buy/run/repair like gyros's 205GTI.  :driver:

The tow car + track car does sound like very good idea to me... if the numbers make sense.

Like you say... it would be a shame to strip it given the hours and £££ put into it.  :drinking:

Not Taxing or insuring saves around £800 / year.  Few trackdays there.  Will have forced myself into a decision by Christmas

You may find if you strip the car to sell you will start liking the car again and want to keep it. I find when modifying a car you can lose the character of it. I did when I sold my Octy and preferred driving it again as a std car. I haven't gone wild on my Focus for that reason alone.
