I'd really like a Mk6 R with the same mods as mine but it seems to much hassle!

I'm the same way. The thought of replacing my mk5 with a mk6 R always makes me wonder how much better life would be to just do a 4wd conversion. Lets face it, that's only reason to consider a mk6 R over anything else.

And then you really would need a bigger turbo, as it would feel dead compared to yours.

I may have a look over he border. If I have time. Can be erratic how smooth the border crossing goes by the sounds of it.

Can't wait to see the car after Adi & Carlo have worked their Magic on it, dripping wet shine with bags of protection!

Then either to @vRSAlex at AKS for TTE420 &  Helix clutch or into storage till I get back from Falklands.
