Id be interested in getting mine done. Im just south of Edinburgh. Mine are currently powder coated silver but id like the original graphite inserts, Would they be able to match the colour with nothing to match it to? if that makes any sense!

Also are they lacquered after they are cut?

Would be best to give him a shout but am sure if he doesnt get the exact match, they wont be a million miles away.
Im sure if you got light anthracite colour with diamond cut face then wouldnt be too far away.
unless some of the anoraks on here know the exact colour, Im sure no matter what he does though you will be happy with anyway.
Yeah they are laquered afterwards.  :happy2:

im sure i paid just over 20 quid for centre caps from vw with a bit discount if u do buy on ebay or that make sure they are genuine cos i bought a set ages ago for my gti when i had it and they looked crap more like brushed aluminium effect on the vw letters and it wasnt aligned properly with the outer circle

I'm over the moon Frenzy!!! Just to get calipers sorted now.

Jaffa, bloody phone died on morning I took wheels up so that's a big no.  Raging as well cos they were totally shagged!! Would show just how much of a miracle they worked.  M3 mate away now for a few weeks so will wait and see.  Needless to say I'll be recommending him to everyone.  They had a set of 20" Insignia VXR whhels in when I picked mine up.  Guy was getting the face diamond cut, wish I could see that result!

Thanks for the heads up , I need my Monzas refurbed and am in Kent . The local price is about £ 360 - £380 , so even with the courier costs its at least £ 100 cheaper to send them up to Dundee.

Mine will be coming off and going up in the next week or so .

Cheers for the info.

Mark
