Diamond Cutting In Scotland Eventually. Got My Wheels done Have A Look!!!

Hey troops, as title suggests there is Finally a place in Scotland that can refurb diamond cut wheels. (Diamond wheels tech) in Dundee
All previous searches I have done, have all lead me down south.

Not sure if anyone on here as used them yet, (if so was, whats your thoughts on them)

I have been throwing emails back and forward with a guy called Danail from there for rough prices etc, and chinned him about a wee group discount for the forum members.

He says if I can get him 10 or more wheels he can do them for 190 a set if you give them to him without tyres. or 210 a set if you need your tyres removed and re-instated etc.
Yes I said a set.  Im sure some of the places down south were wanting not a kick in the arse off that  per wheel.  

Would any1 be interested in this, I am defo going to be getting mine done so I am needing another 6 wheels   or lets say another 2 people, as I am pretty sure ppl would be wanting a full set done.

I have asked him about black insets, to replicate the Mk6 Monza wheels and he says thats not a problem.






he gave me a video of the wheels getting done aswell but not sure how to upload vids.

let me know if any1 would be interested in this, as it seems a pretty  good price, and by the looks of the pics his work doesnt seem to shabby at all.

Yeah thought so too, getting mine done in the next 2 or 3 weeks so will get some before and after pics up as soon as there done.

Would be good if I could get a couple more people interested in getting theirs done, and get them done with a bit of discount.

You think you would be up for getting them done, will email him and see if he can do the rocco wheels? would only need one other person if your up for it.

mind u looking at the video he sent me not sure if its just wheels with a flat face that could be done, rocco wheels kinda go in at an angle if you get me.

thats a wicked price. Its soooooo expensive down here in bournemouth, Havent found it any cheaper than £360. At those prices i may look into getting a courier to take tham and pick them up

Yeah thought so too.

Says if I can get him 10 or more wheels, then he will do them for the above prices otherwise its 65quid +VAT so a bit closer to the prices south of the border.

My wheels are getting dropped off middle of next week and will have them back for the wknd. just hoping 2 other ppl jump on the bandwagon so we can get the good price. 

Wonder if it would be worth posting in the for sale section.

Emailed him, and he wasnt too sure, says the scirocco wheels have a twisted spoke and wouldnt want to risk doing it.

says its easier to diamond cut a flat face with the lathe he has?

shame aswell, would have only needed one more person to get them done at much cheapness if he could have done the rocco wheels.

never heard of them but I'm sure they are good if they have a place in perth too

Was all set to have them coated but this sounds like a seriously good deal and I would much prefer them done properly.  I'm in Prestwick but could no doubt make the journey for that price.  I kinda need the car most of the time but if I get a bit of notice I'm sure it could work.  Do you want to enquire on my behalf or send me the guy's contact details?
