Didnt see this thread,

I had a 888, cracking cars in idea just a few downfalls which led to me selling up. Personally think they look stunning and handle so well with the eibach suspension and the 4 pots. (they alcon not ap)

Problem is the brakes were made for the car and don't appear on any other vehicle as far as im aware which made discs and pads rather expensive. The 1 piece discs were prone to cracking so 2 piece come out at a cost of like £750.

Lovely car to drive though and was nippy for a diesel, used to stick with my mates 2.0turbo astra 888 (previous model), also standard ST's n would beat type r's.

Then it came to the brakes needing replacement and with the tyres being 235 not 225 made them quite abit more expensive, Thought if im paying those prices for tyres and brakes etc, i want the power so got a RS lol.

Miss the fuel consumption though, used to get average of 45-50mpg on way to work, and about 70mpg at 70mph on motorway.

Think i had the coolest one as was number 007 lol
