Yes it is Greg mentioned that they were trying to secure the sole rights for ITG on VAGs when I was down there having the car mapped last week.

Very promising results there Si.

250+bhp on a very mild map is very good and I'd be surprised if the car doesn't make 280bhp once the DSG mapping issues are resolved.

251.2bhp on a 1.39 litre car is the same as getting 361bhp from a 2 litre, so a great result that.  :happy2:

280bhp would be like getting over 400bhp from a 2 litre. :surprised:
Golf R gone.

I can remember going to a RR day at Marlin with a rather powerful Octavia on the rollers, 5 people in the car and 3 more stood on the sills whilst the doors were open just to keep it down.

Obviously, APR are doing a lot of special work on the car, but do you have any idea what they will be charging for the rebranded ITG? Ive emailed them, but awaiting a response.

Can you not buy it from an itg dealer?

Exclusivity just annoys me tbh.

I meant VWR, which is who ive also emailed. :happy2: I doubt anyone else would be alowed to sell the VWr branded ITG filter. And i would rather that.

Just looking at the intake pipe work, it gets narrower the nearer the inlet manifold.  I wonder if anyone is going to make a full free flowing pipe from the VWR intake to the inlet manifold, as that will be restricting the air filters full potential.
Superb figures so far but I am wondering how tractable it will be on the high boost map  :rolleye:
I was wondering if the wheel power is correct, as that seems to be a massive 66bhp power loss through the transmission :surprised:

So its just VWR that do this itg filter or is it available through itg?

Is anyone doing better pipework from the filter to the turbo/super chargers?

I asked this as well.  The answer i got was that the losses are measured and not calculated.  He said dyno dynamics rollers apply a loss that is taken from a database.

As a comparison my car was running 181Hp at the wheels before this turbo was fitted.  It is MASSIVELY faster now.  Also The Golf R made 195hp at the wheels(330hp at the flywheel).

Im sure there will be a lot more power once the high boost map is on :happy2:
Have you fitted an aftermarket exhaust yet as that should keep the EGTS down and help the turbo spool at warp factor 9  :rolleye:

Its got a decat downpipe, although im going to go for a CAT on the exhaust instead.

Basically the high boost maps not only provide alot more power, but also huge midrange torque which is the biggest issue.  DeCATs give big torque gains low down so im thinking if i go for a 200cell cat in a downpipe it will limit the torque a little.

Same kit is available from ITG resellers, branded as ITG.

Id give BCS a call, as their sport cats are motorsports cats and easily able to flow 380bhp on the 200 cel.  Thats what fitted to mine and I doubt would impede flow rates at all.
