so how do the electronic type plug in/connect up???

Requires 3 wires to be connected up, ignition live, permanent live and an earth.

Boost/Vac is taken off (in my case PCV via Forges offering), I ran the Boost/Vac line into the cabin.  Small Black Electronic sensor where the Boost/ Vac line connects to (via a small filter) small gauge wiring then goes from the sensor upto the gauge, Small gauge wiring upto gauge for the + and -.

Don't think I took any photos of the sensor and location to be honest, but does this helpGaz?

As above Gaz, there Vac hose goes from the same place in engine bay.  Then instead of going straight to back of gauge it goes to an electrical sensor that sends the signal to the gauge.


More interestingly, whats that perched on your dash???

On my dash Mike?

If so, it is Seats offering for a Tom Tom Mount.  Only fits the older X10 units.  Powerd from the fusebox so I don't need the trailing wire (hate trailing wires)
