Got to view 2 GTIs today. Sadly they weren't up to scratch. The one I liked most had a problem with the driver seat material at the shoulder area. Apparently the previous owner was quite big and the insidenis permanenlt dented and the material worn :-)

Please let me find my gti soon!

After you've handed over all that hard earned the last thing you want is for there to be a particular something about the car you aren't happy with from the off as it will always gnaw away at you. Don't worry the one for you will turn up eventually and when it does you'll be glad you were patient  :pomppomp:

I know you're right, or at least I hope you're right! :-)

Just, if by chance you or someone else knows, would it cost much to fix? Is this just re-upholstering or a new seat? It would be good if that could be taken into account if I was to bargain with the dealer. Its just the car has full VWSH and only has 20,645 miles. 2007 57 plate so pretty damn good.

Got a quote for fitting the back part of the seat £357 from local stealer. Said it would be 3 hours labour. Will leave the car for another week. If it's not sold I may go back to the dealer and see if I can bargain him down.
