The Megane has a cage and cage mounts are cheap :-)

RS265 ?? Didnt think it had a cage.


pete... the strut distance is no issue at all. You just design it as appropriate.

If you want one Id be more than happy to make one (or anyone else for that matter.)

Bit heavy duty mine as its solid bar, not hollow.

Messing about today with some new tools I bought.



Drilled and tapped the bar so that the bolt screws into the bar and then doesnt need holding when tightening the wing nut up.

The Megane doesnt have head rest poles either.

From memory (we haven't driven it for a while now) the RS265 had these seats, the boggo ones (it wasn't a trophy or anything):
