I got mine from german ebay. Will try and track down seller.

I think Greeners was trying to flog me a set too.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Thats the part number as listed on VW's website.

Phoned my local dealer and they confirmed the part number but didn't have any in stock.

Looks like they are 23.10 euro from german dealers:

http://www.volkswagen-zubehoer-shop.de/shop/product_info.php?info=p97_Reifentaschen-Set--bis-18--.html

Just had a quick look on german ebay, one of the cheapest I found that will post to UK:

http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160631680028&clk_rvr_id=253005719425&item=160631680028&lgeo=1&vectorid=229487#ht_1787wt_1141

Two shipping options, 9 euro and 18 euro, don't know what the difference is but both DHL.

There might be even cheaper ones, just need to search for ' vw refientasche' and they should come up.
