Charcoal canister pipe assembly.

When I replaced my canister it came with it. I still have my old canister and pipe too if it can't be bought separate and you want it.

IIRC it comes as a complete part. JKM replaced mine back in June. Think it was about £12 or so for the part.

Yes it does. They are £9 odd from a dealer as I have replaced them before.

If you can get the pipe you're sorted  :happy2:
I replaced my canister because of an EVAP fault code where over filling causes the charcoal canister to fail.

Yes if you brim the tank it will ruin the charcoal canister.

I used to do the same thing (usually at Wankum). But when i got the EVAP fault i replaced the breather line (twice) and in the end was told i needed a new cannister as it was kaput due to brimming the tank.

I wish I'd known this. I often "brim" the tank!! :ashamed:

What are the symptoms of a problem, or is it just if it shows an error code?

No symptoms till you get the light on the dash. However a scan with VCDS will reveal an EVAP fault. Can't remember the exact wording but something along lines EVAP Emission control malfunction :happy2:
