Different alloy fitments
« on: August 04, 2011, 06:07:08 pm »
are all alloys from the VAG group the same in terms of stud pattern, offset, etc?  i am wondering what other alloys would fit a 2008 GTi.  also, what is the pcd, offset etc please for the standard alloys (Monza 17's).  thanks.

MKV platform cars are PCD 112 x 5, offsets will vary, my 18" Zeniths a 7.5J ET51, 8J ET35-45 would be fine, the centre bore is 57.1 but some Merc wheels will fit you just need a reducing spigot for the centre bore.  :happy2:

Thanks guys...so am i right in saying that the offset between a R32 and a GTi is different?  i assumed they would all be the same.  Looking at the link you posted Scott, it would seem the stock ET is 44 for the MK5 golf?  cheers!  :happy2:

Interesting that the R32 wheel has the identical dimensions as a Skoda Zenith.  :drinking:

I think we were discussing your car on Briskoda yesterday.  A member has a set of 18" refurbed Zentihs for sale, and someone mentioned they had seen them on an ED30 -

Would love to see some pictures of yours mate, I'm looking at fitting BBS CH to my vRS and if they look good I could put the Zentihs on swmbo's Golf GT.  :happy2:
