I've got one, had it just over a year now. Got my date of birth in roman numerals up the side of my calf. Just got it done at a local place.

I've wanted another since I got my first one but just can't decide what I want or where I want it.

What you had done mate?!

Had a Mauri design created for me and done on one arm and smaller similar one on other arm. Got it done in Twickenham....

Does make me laugh the looks the artists get there as it's fairly posh and then they walk around with head to toe tattoos.

Want another one but can't decide where.

My mate has these 2...

Both are unfinished in the pictures but the line work and shading is spot on. Done with traditional bamboo in Shipley. Expensive but worth it. I want a full sleeve but its just having the spare funds to do it. Wwant wings wrapping round the arm.

I don't have any tats but my 20yo daughter does.

^ Before everyone gets excited, that's not my daughter.

She has a deer on her shoulder and a small swallow (oriental style) on her ankle. They are both very nicely done but her mum (my ex) doesn't like them because she's snobby about tats but I know a member of the Royal Family who has a tat.

What's ppl's take on how these tats will look as your body ages? Tattoos in past generations have usually lost their definition and look 'rubbery'.

Think though that looking how far tattooing has come along, the inks used and needles are a lot better and don't tend to blow out as they get older.
There is also always the option of getting them touched up as time goes on to help keep them looking fresh,
