Detailed/Awesome GTI open day. 31/7/11

Cheers mr&mrs al for putting my silver beauty on first  :congrats: captured the bodywork superb .. And I couldn't even enter  :P as we can't judge our own. Favouritism and all that ballcocks   :innocent:

Ah well, sure you would have cleaned up with that beaut!

Nice to meet you again, and thanks for checking with the judges and getting rid of my paranoia.

Was nice to meet all the guys off the forum, Mike, Keeno, and a few others too.
And thanks for introducing yourselves and chatting.
Just a general niceness of the show really, and the trophy really did top the day off nicely
(only spent £1.40 on a tea and coffee and petrol money, so double win!) :laugh: :party:

It's a quality show al and more peeps than last year as well ... All part of the detailed massive    :pomppomp: see you in a few at leeds where you could make it a hat-rick  :notworthy:

Nice pics. The S3 Sportback was a proper 'Q' car - very nice piece of kit.

That speed hump looked like it claimed quite a few victims during the day.....

trust me that bump coming out of the talk-talk car park caught a few victims out.... Grew a good crowd as the day went on  :P

. I already new you'd won a trophy al but couldn't tell you  :innocent: contacts and all that.... and a word in their shell like etc....  :pomppomp:  nice to see your surprise .. Well deserved mate it's just gregs R32 stance and look swayed the votes and no amount of fruit pastels could alter it  :P
